LIVE MUD is a wholesale supplier of organic fertilizers (turf, sapropel of different grades and sapropel-derived humic acids, humates and other extracts).
The raw material production license that we hold is valid till 2036.
The resource (turf and sapropel) volume at the deposit is over three million tons.
The raw material production capacity is 72,000 tons/year.
The overall production volume of humic acids is 3,000 tons/year.
SAPROPEL
SAPROPEL in Agriculture
Sapropel is an organic fertilizer used to provide a high yield of agricultural crops. Sapropels are a valuable natural resource that can be used in numerous sectors of the national economy. Sapropel is a fine-structure colloidal sediments in freshwater bodies that has the minimum content of organic substances of 15% and the ash content varying from 20% to 80%.

Humic compounds
Humic compounds consist of humus acids, humin and prohumin compounds. The term “humus acids” is used as an umbrella term for humic and fulvic acids.
They are derived from turf, lignite or sapropel. When released into soil, humic compounds, being a natural plant growth stimulants, activate “the work” of soil microorganisms, notably improving the soil structure, water and air permeability.

Use of Humic Compounds
Humic compounds make six types of effect: - a mechanical effect on the soil, by improving its structure, increasing the cohesion of loose soils as well as the air permeability and exchange water capacity of firm soils;
- a chemical effect on the soil, by facilitating emergence of an environment friendly for beneficial microorganisms and inhibiting for harmful ones;
